Crimson Tempus was Sacred Emerald's student when he was young, but he has since had many teachers (hence the term 'First Teacher.' One of Sacred Emerald's elemental styles (the ancient style that would eventually be transformed into Fire Dragon Style) was created with Tempus' help.

Tears of Adamant shared her knowledge of Sidereal Martial Arts with Sacred Emerald, valuing his understanding of martial philosophies. He, in turn, honored the Sidereal secrets, and shared them with no one.
