A title that means something to maybe four or five people in the world, probably. 
I noticed that I've been drifting into predominantly female character art recently, which is interesting considering my previous (pre-DA) stuff was by and large male figures. Between that and noticing that I had not drawn enough L5R stuff recently I decided to try and get back into the swing of things with a faceoff between Kakita Koshin and one of his longtime rivals (acquaintances would probably be a better term, but it lacks bite), Daigotsu Shimekiri. For those four or five people out there, this is them during the Celestial Edition timeline - after Shimekiri joined the Spider Clan, it seems.
Shimekiri, btw, is the creation of [link] who is a much better artist. Check out his stuff - you won't be disappointed.

Aha! I found you. This is Kaori...and I was thrilled to see you still remembered my story. It's a gorgeous picture. I love the idea that, at some point, Koshin and Shimekiri, both with secret passageways through the labyrinth of time, would confront each other again. If you ever see this know and want to revisit, let me know...maybe we can put a story together.
