Blade Blessings

As usual, I've been trying to squeeze in some drawing time among my other efforts, with a minimum amount of success.  I had a number of different efforts that I was working on, and this one ended up turning into something a bit different from the original plan to draw a Tech-Priest.  The result ended up becoming something akin to the Warhammer 40,000 version of Daidoji Juri (fav.me/d6nqc19), although this was something that became clear to me only about halfway through.  I have some vague sort of concept of her belonging to a minor sect within the Cult of the Machine God dedicated to metallurgy and bladecraft, and seeking to uncover the technological secrets of ancient weapons such as Relic and Paragon Blades.

And of course, being a Juri derivative, she will likely have a C.A.T. - although these are slightly different than the ones favored by her original version (wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Cyber…) although the Internet does tell me that humans still have actual cats for pets, even in the grim darkness of the far future...hmmm...

It would probably be a cyber-cat, at the very least.
